PLK Communities seeks a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician to float between Duveneck Square and Seminary Square Lofts in Covington, KY. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating a maintenance team across two properties to uphold safety and integrity of the communities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in multi-family maintenance, supervisory experience, and skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multi-family/apartment maintenance experience.
• Supervisory/lead experience required.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to respond to afterhours emergencies on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on leader for the maintenance team.
• Maintain physical integrity and safety of the community.
• Identify and correct problems promptly.
• Perform property maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• HVAC service and repair (training available).
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
• Provide leadership and development for maintenance staff.
