Job summary

Koury Corporation in Greensboro, NC seeks a Senior Property Accountant to supervise portions of the Property Accounting team, ensuring accurate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and proper lease accounting.

You will manage tenant charges/payments, fixed assets, prepaids, TICAM reconciliations, and monthly/annual reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include 5–7 years CRE accounting, strong communication, and a bachelor's in accounting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in CRE.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily liquidity reports and transfers
• Generate tenant charges and apply payments
• Record bank transfers
• Review and set up leases in the accounting system
• Reconcile TICAM, billings, and tenant reporting
• Lead month-end close and related reconciliations
• Coordinate monthly collection meetings
• Prepare and review annual budgets and TICAM reconciliations
• Record transactions for acquisitions and dispositions
• Enter journal entries and perform account analyses
