Search Solution Group is seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to oversee monthly financial statements for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will manage cash, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance while adhering to accounting policies.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of property management accounting experience, strong knowledge of property-level accounting, and the ability to independently manage multiple properties and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of property-level accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple properties.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and complete monthly operating financial statements for a portfolio of 5–8 individual properties.
• Oversee and reconcile cash activity, including receipts, disbursements, and property-level cash balances.
• Lead pre-close and month-end close activities to meet deadlines.
• Research and resolve complex accounting discrepancies at the property level.
• Support audits and provide requested financial information.
