Associate Director Recruitment Accounting & Finance

Our client is a premier rapidly growing Commercial Real Estate firm located in Morris County NJ

Immediate need high profile dynamic Accounting Professional with experience in Commercial Real Estate/Class A Preferred

In this role you will provide financial support and be the point of contact for multiple properties in addition to corporate responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages
• Review monthly budget to actual variance reports and prepare variance explanations
• Present findings to leadership
• Prepare detailed quarterly and year-end financial statements and supporting work-papers
• Interface with the company's external auditors
• Assist in preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed!
• Interface with personnel throughout the company to maintain the proper flow of information
• Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
• Prepare monthly cash flow projections for joint venture partner
• Perform monthly billing for assigned properties
• Apply cash receipts and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Review expenses to verify adequacy of support and to ensure proper G/L classification
• Reconcile assigned bank accounts
• Reconcile AP and AR subledgers

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years in accounting/public or private/ Real Estate preferred
• Experience using MRI and Yardi
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/CPA a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while still exhibiting good judgement and poise in a fast-paced environment
