Job summary

Cmacommunities is seeking a Property Accountant III/OS to manage a portfolio of 30–35 properties within our Large Scale/Onsite division. You will collaborate with community managers, the management team, and accounting leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

The role requires 5–7 years of full-cycle accounting experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid on-site environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office & Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of full-cycle accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an accounting portfolio of 30–35 properties.
• Serve as liaison between Community Managers, Management Team, and Accounting Leadership.
• Support other team members as a resource.
• Research and resolve accounting questions for assigned properties, escalating when needed.
• Provide occasional training on accounting processes as needed.
• Coordinate with Community Managers & clients to resolve financial issues; may attend Board meetings.
• Assist with other accounting issues and special projects.
