Job summary

Atrium, a regional real estate company, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and multi-entity financial reporting. You will partner with investment and operations teams to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate results, with opportunities for leadership in a growing retail-focused portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related property accounting experience.
• CAM reconciliation and CAM budgeting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
• Solid planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams daily to ensure the accuracy of accounting books.
• Handle a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Execute CAM reconciliations and CAM budgeting.
• Monitor all accounts and analyze related performance to support decision-making.
• Manage accounting processes and prepare and approve quarterly financial reports, compliance, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• Research and propose accounting guidance to facilitate discussions and conclusions with team members.
• Prepare analyses or responses to address requests from vendors, locations, and partners.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
