Job summary

Surya Inc. is seeking a talented prop stylist with a keen eye for design to support our home decor and interiors campaigns. You will style for photography, videos and showroom displays, ensuring visuals align with Surya's brand aesthetic.

You will collaborate with Marketing and creative teams to select props, create mood boards, and manage props library, delivering polished, on-brand presentations under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising or Interior Design is a plus.
• 3+ years of professional experience in photo studio and location environments, with emphasis on home/interiors.
• Knowledge of interior design and fashion trends and styles.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to adapt to changing business environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
• Drive for perfection with impeccable attention to detail.
• Positive, willing-to-help attitude.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prep, and style for a wide range of photography.
• Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders to interpret vision, evaluate merchandise, and define props needed to achieve scene and style.
• Lead photo prep and assist with art direction by presenting ideas for shoots, making mood boards for specific projects and making informed product selections for shots.
• Organize and maintain prop library and styling areas for optimal photo shoot preparedness.
• Preparation for photo shoots, including research, shopping, organization of props and materials and various creative tasks.
• Compile, submit and track product orders prior to each shoot.
• Administrative tasks related to location shoots, tradeshows, events, and special projects.
• Assist with visual merchandising and installations at showrooms to deliver optimal presentation of products and standout guest experience.
