Job summary

HII Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking an experienced project/program manager to oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as a liaison among project management, planning, and line teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of exempt experience or equivalent combinations, with Six-Sigma and CAD proficiency considered a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position in Newport News, VA, with no relocation offered and a first-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required, with extensive exempt experience.
• Multiple equivalencies to a Bachelor's Degree are acceptable to meet minimum qualifications.
• Six-Sigma, Auto-Cad and Integraph proficiency are valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Serves as liaison between project management, planning, and line management.
• Reviews budgets and schedules; prepares status reports and resolutions.

Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
