Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Biddeford, ME, is seeking a motivated Project Surveyor to join their Survey/Geospatial team. Responsibilities include analyzing boundary surveys, providing infrastructure layout computations, and supervising project staff. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, an Associate degree or equivalent, and skills in Civil 3D and surveying instruments. Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• LSIT or PLS required.
• Valid drivers’ license required.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare boundary and ALTA surveys.
• Provide accurate computation for infrastructure layout.
• Assist in preparing proposals, estimates, and contract documents.
• Organize work of field and office staff.
• Provide direction to complete project objectives.
• Monitor work efforts of assigned staff.
• May supervise Survey Technician(s).

Skills

Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D

TBC (Trimble Business Center)

MicroStation proficiency

Advanced knowledge of surveying instruments

Proficient in various data techniques

Ability to read, write and understand English

Education

Associate degree or equivalent technical experience
