Senior Project Superintendent - High-Rise & MEP

Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee the construction of buildings and large-scale projects. This role directs on-site crews, coordinates MEP systems, ensures quality control, and drives project timelines from Management and Ownership teams.

You'll manage the on-site team, coordinate multiple subcontractors, and ensure adherence to construction codes and safety protocols while maintaining strong communication with Project Managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in large-scale, complex and vertical building projects.
• Deep understanding of MEP systems and construction sequencing.
• Knowledge of fire rating requirements and codes for high-rise buildings.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades during build-out.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating between workers, engineers, management and ownership.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Autodesk applications and Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads all on-site construction operations.
• Manages trade partners, safety compliance, scheduling from groundbreaking to closeout.
• Collaborates with Project Manager to aid job scheduling and staffing needs.
• Plans and coordinates labor, materials, and equipment for project completion.
• Monitors field productivity to ensure cost-effective, professional work.
• Communicates with Project Manager and Subcontractors.
• Assists in hiring, training and evaluating new team members.
• Builds and maintains good relationships with employees and stakeholders.
• Interacts with inspectors, architects, owners and others; ensures OSHA compliance.
