Job summary

A heavy civil construction company in the greater Kingsport area is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead a major civil project.

You will supervise 30–40 employees on grading and utility work and coordinate 15+ subcontractors, ensuring work stays on design, budget, and schedule for projects from $5M to $90M. Relocation assistance is available.

Candidates should have 5+ years of superintendent experience; TDOT experience is a plus but not required. There is no travel involved with this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with grading and utility projects is preferred.
• Experience coordinating a large number of subcontractors and crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–40 employees on grading and utility work.
• Coordinate 15+ subcontractors to ensure on-budget, on-time completion.
• Ensure projects meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Oversee safety, quality, and progress on projects ranging from $5M to $90M.
