Job summary

Sky Mavis is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations on design-build construction projects across the United States. You will manage onsite construction, quality control for MEP and fire protection, startup and testing, and coordinate resources on complex, nationwide programs.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management or Engineering, 10–20 years of experience on 50+ million projects, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction management experience with progression to management.
• 10–20 years of technical commercial/industrial construction management on multi-million dollar projects.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, procurement, operations, safety, quality and site management teams to ensure adequate resources.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to meet budget and schedule requirements.
• Maintain high safety standards and quality across projects nationwide.
• Travel or relocate to job sites as required; manage multi-floor sites.
• Drive progress with urgency and creative problem solving.

The Role We Want You For

As a Senior Project Superintendent, you will be based on the construction project site and will be responsible for field operations and onsite construction management of design-build construction projects, specifically quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, construction, start up, and testing on highly complex projects nationwide.

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to assure that there is always adequate project resources.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
• 10-20 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management, on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 60lbs.
