IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a national provider of mission-critical data center construction services, seeks a Senior Project Scheduling Manager in Lithia Springs, GA.

You will lead the Scheduling Department overseeing schedules across a national portfolio of complex data center projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project goals. The role requires advanced Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel skills; 10+ years in construction scheduling with 5+ in leadership;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field or trade experience also considered.
• Minimum 10+ years of construction scheduling experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing scheduling personnel or departments.
• Extensive background in electrical construction and mission-critical/data center environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling efforts across multiple large-scale, fast-paced projects.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, resource management, and scheduling best practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages Scheduling Department, ensuring consistent processes, reporting standards, and schedule integrity across all projects.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for scheduling best practices and critical path methodology in data center construction.
• Develops and maintains integrated master schedules and project-specific schedules with project teams and partners.
• Establishes protocols for schedule development, updates, forecasting, look-ahead planning, and recovery.
• Performs schedule risk assessments, delay analyses, and reporting for executive decisions and client communications.
• Partners with Project Controls, Estimating, and Operations to support preconstruction planning and manpower forecasting.
• Provides mentorship and leadership to schedulers across the department.
• Conducts audits, jobsite visits, and coordination meetings to monitor progress and align with milestones.
• Travel to project sites is required.

Responsible for overseeing the Scheduling Department within our Mission-Critical division. You will lead scheduling operations and personnel across a national portfolio of complex data center projects, ensuring scheduling consistency, accuracy, and alignment with overall project goals and division standards.

Job Summary
