The Senior Project Scheduler is also the subject‑matter expert for the scheduling team and provides coaching and mentorship.

  • Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates.
  • Organize and maintain a standard schedule database that includes templates, target schedules, actuals, etc.
  • Conduct advanced delay analysis, forensic schedule reviews, and provide schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Interface with the core team to discuss the impact of work and resolve problems.
  • Incorporate resource and/or cost loading data into schedules as required.
  • Frequently interact with executive stakeholders, clients, and contractors, and possibly lead scheduling discussions in progress or risk meetings.
  • Monitor and report project performance against plan for all projects.
  • Work closely with project controls and cost teams to align schedule and cost performance reporting.
  • Develop a strategy for the deployment of schedules for all Power Generation Services projects.
  • Lead in defining the training curriculum for schedulers across Power Generation Service.
  • Mentor and coach fellow schedulers within Power Generation Services.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to management and/or HR.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Protect confidential information by not disclosing it to third parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field from a four‑year college or university; seven (7) years of related experience and/or training in project scheduling of industrial, construction, or power generation projects. International business experience desirable.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 at an advanced level, enabling independent schedule development, forensic and critical‑path analysis, and the instruction and mentorship of junior and peer schedulers.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of resource‑loading scheduling software for project management, scheduling applications, database, spreadsheet, word processing, e‑mail, graphics, technical diagrams, and flow charts. Proficiency is required in both Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Up to 30 % travel required domestically and internationally.
