Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex company, is seeking a Project and Revenue Accounting Manager to lead ASC 606 application for project-based contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition across the business. You will partner with Finance, Operations, PMO, Legal, Sales, and Executives to improve visibility and close processes.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue closes, review contracts and amendments, and mentor the project accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue recognition, project accounting, and financial close.
• Experience applying ASC 606 to complex customer contracts and documenting technical accounting conclusions.
• Experience leading process improvements or developing accounting team members.

Responsibilities

• Own the application of ASC 606 to existing, new, and modified customer arrangements; determine performance obligations and timing of revenue recognition.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close for project-based accounting with project controls; ensure accuracy of revenue, costs, margins, and related balances.
• Review contracts, amendments, change orders, and other considerations; prepare accounting conclusions and obtain approvals.
