Job summary

Construction Material Testing in the United States seeks a Project Quality Manager II who writes the project quality plan, directs surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers, and ensures the project’s quality records will withstand turnover.

You will own nonconformance and corrective actions, report metrics to the project leadership and owner, and lead vendor qualification and inspection activities across industrial capital projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and ITPs.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
