Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager III to direct quality across capital programs, establish the quality system, and lead multiple Project Quality Managers. You will set qualification standards for suppliers and contractors, and represent the client in audits while reporting quality metrics to executives.

The role requires extensive experience with regulated programs and executive communication skills to stop work when required, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quality on capital projects.
• 5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
• ASQ CMQ-OE or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification a strong plus.
• Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).
• Executive-level communication and the judgment to stop work when the record demands it.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program quality management system, procedures, and audit program.
• Direct Project Quality Managers across projects.
• Set standards, review performance, and develop staff.
• Own supplier and contractor qualification and the approved vendor list.
• Represent the client in regulatory, certification, and third‑party audits.
• Own corrective-action closure and report quality performance to leadership.
