Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance; qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, and report quality performance to the project manager and owner's organization.

You will lead audits, review QC plans, oversee nonconformance and corrective actions, and ensure turnover records meet the standards required for commissioning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
