Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking a Project Quality Lead (PQL) for a client facility in Joliet, Illinois. The PQL will plan, perform, and lead quality assurance audits across oil and gas operations, ensuring compliance with international, regulatory, and industry standards.

The role requires coordinating the PQMS and surveillance programs throughout the project duration. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of QA experience, ability to relocate locally in Illinois, and readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in quality auditing or QA management.
• Local to Illinois or willing to relocate at your own expense.
• Available to start as soon as possible.
• Willing to work a 4/10 shift (OT possible) or a 5/8 shift.
• Willing to travel for business when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and lead quality assurance audits across projects.
• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan and related procedures.
• Coordinate development and execution of the quality audit program.
• Identify, report, and resolve non-conformances and quality issues.
• Interface with project management and disciplines to ensure PQMS resources and compliance.
