Job summary

Kiewit is hiring a Senior Project Procurement Manager to lead negotiation and legal support for project procurement activities. You will coordinate with procurement agents, project managers, and legal teams across multiple US projects, ensuring compliant templates and efficient contract execution.

The role requires a strong background in EPC procurement, risk assessment, and complex contract negotiations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent is required.
• Legal or transactional/commercial management experience of 5+ years is preferred.
• 8+ years of negotiation experience is required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically for periods of less than a week.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement with identifying mandatory and recommended prime contract flow-down clauses for vendor contracts and collaborate with Procurement Managers on templates.
• Review project contract templates for adherence to requirements.
• Assist in developing company-wide procurement templates.
• Provide training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions as needed.
• Negotiate high-risk contracts for various projects and provide negotiation support to project teams.
• Act as liaison between procurement and project attorneys to move contracts forward to execution.
• Resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and manage template negotiations.
• Interface with business, legal, risk, tax, suppliers, and internal procurement teams.
