Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across planning, scheduling, resource management, financial performance, and client relationships. Based in Omaha, NE, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in collaboration with internal partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive project plans that define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for complex, mission-critical data center projects.
  • Strategically identify and allocate human and material resources to ensure optimal project execution while balancing risk, cost, and schedule.
  • Lead, coordinate, and align multidisciplinary project teams, including subcontractors and internal partners, to drive consistency and performance.
  • Establish clear expectations, assign responsibilities, and provide direction to ensure effective resource utilization and adherence to critical milestones.
  • Continuously evaluate project risks, resolve issues decisively, and adapt plans as conditions change—demonstrating ingenuity and sound judgment at scale.
  • Set and enforce rigorous quality control standards that reflect a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and reliability in mission-critical environments.
  • Conduct regular inspections and collaborate with clients, designers, field teams, and subcontractors to address quality concerns proactively.
  • Monitor construction progress, lead regular status meetings, and ensure schedules are maintained throughout all phases of construction.
