Work days/hours: M - F 8am - 5pm

Remote, with potential for some travel up to 25%

Description:

1. Summary

• The Senior Project Manager will lead a project intended to implement Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software at a sterilization site to enable warehouse management, manufacturing execution, and electronic device history record (eDHR) capabilities there.
• The Senior Project Manager drives the delivery of the project through advanced project management techniques and methodologies, aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices.
• The Project Manager may have responsibility to lead/coach/mentor other team members, functional leaders, and vendors where necessary to help drive project outcomes.

2. Key Skills, Experience, & Responsibilities

• Possesses 7 – 10 years of senior project management experience using the PMI framework.
• Experience leading projects in medical device or similar regulated industry (GxP), especially relating to Supply Chain/Manufacturing and sterilization is preferred.
• Partners with project sponsors, team members, and key stakeholders to define project objectives, success criteria, scope, budget/resources, and to develop critical artifacts such as charters, integrated project schedules, and risk, communication, and stakeholder management plans.
• Establishes and ensures adherence to project structure and governance processes for status reporting, risk and issue escalation, change control, steering committees, and appropriate phase gates for approval of project deliverables.
• Manages project within defined schedule, scope, and resource constraints, while minimizing risk, and ensuring adherence to established processes, methodologies, and best practices; Takes ownership for delivery project objectives and deliverables.
• Manages project financials to ensure project delivery within budgetary constraints.
• Monitors project performance and adjusts strategies and processes as needed to achieve project objectives.
• Leads teams of highly matrixed, cross-functional professionals, typically geographically dispersed regionally and/or globally, to successfully execute and deliver projects.
• Identifies potential risks and issues and develops associated mitigation and contingency strategies to proactively minimize negative impacts to project success; Escalates and collaborates with appropriate key stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution.
• Develops and delivers status updates to various levels of leadership, including sponsors, and key stakeholders.
• Mentors project managers, and other team members in project management best practices, where necessary.
• Manages internal and external customer relationships to realize high customer satisfaction for the project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements (Must Haves)

• 7 – 10 years of project management work experience using PMI framework.

• PMP, or other PMI Certification, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree that provide foundational skills lending to success in managing projects.
• Experience leading projects in medical device or similar regulated industry (GxP), especially relating to Supply Chain/Manufacturing and sterilization.
