Sterling Engineering in Crawfordsville, IN, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical new product development and manufacturing projects from concept to production launch.

You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and customers to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, coordinating cross-functional teams across Indiana and Nebraska facilities; occasional travel and a hybrid onsite/work-from-home schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience in technical manufacturing.
• Experience leading new product development and launches.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Ops.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and budgets.
• Experience establishing or improving PM processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional NPD and production launch projects
• Develop and manage scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, deliverables
• Coordinate projects across Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Operations, and customers
• Drive accountability and keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Communicate project status, risks, changes to stakeholders
• Manage multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
• Work with customers to understand requirements and support execution
• Implement and improve PM processes and tools
• Improve project visibility and consistency across teams
• Utilize tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and MS 365
• Support new product development initiatives that drive profitable growth
