Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Buildings Practice in Portland, OR. You will lead architectural and engineering teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with clients and consultants to deliver sustainable, integrated design solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and help develop innovative prototypes with green architecture sensibility. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is required.
• License as Architect in any state is required or able to obtain.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management for buildings projects.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex tasks on medium to large-size projects.
• Plan, organize, and direct work to deliver the project to the client.
• Keep Principal in Charge informed of progress and boundaries of decision-making.
• Lead client and project team to meet budget, schedule, and design intent.
• Develop and manage project budget, schedule, and work plan.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate project teams.
• Ensure Project Management Framework tasks are completed and documented.
• Lead coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage change orders, contractor payments, and contractual modifications.
