Job summary

Kimley-Horn seeks a Senior Project Manager to expand our Surface Water (Hydraulics/Hydrology) practice in Maryland. You will lead business development, manage relationships with local municipalities and agencies, and oversee project tasks while mentoring junior staff.

Drive the growth of the Surface Water team, lead proposals and budgets, and deliver resilient infrastructure solutions using AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Civil Engineering and design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Client contacts with local municipalities and agencies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage resources effectively.
• Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and manage key client relationships.
• Oversee project tasks and mentor younger staff.
• Autonomously lead, direct, and grow the Surface Water practice.
• Use AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling in design.
• Drive resiliency and sustainable infrastructure projects.
