Job summary

gpac seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex structural steel projects from award to completion. The role demands a deep background in fabrication and erection, with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will read and interpret structural drawings and specifications, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong communication with general contractors, owners, and engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural steel project management experience.
• Ability to read structural drawings, shop drawings, and specs.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and contracts.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with estimating, detailing, fabrication, procurement, field operations, and erection teams.
• Serve as primary contact for general contractors, owners, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor costs, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Mentor project engineers and junior project managers.
