Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in steel erection, structural steel, ironwork, or related construction for a full-time direct hire opportunity in Nashville, TN. The role offers a salary range of $100,000–$125,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities include managing structural steel/ironwork projects from preconstruction through completion, maintaining budgets and schedules, coordinating with preconstruction, estimators, and field teams, and

Qualifications

10–15 years of project management and/or steel erection/ironwork experience.
Strong background in structural steel, steel erection, ironwork, or commercial/industrial construction.
Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Manage structural steel/ironwork projects from preconstruction through completion.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and milestones.
Monitor project costs and proactively address potential overruns.
Coordinate with Preconstruction, Estimating, General Superintendents, field teams, vendors, and suppliers.
Identify and resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, and project delays.
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to project team members.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Maintain clear communication with internal teams, customers, and project stakeholders.
