Hitachi Energy USA INC. in Houston seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale projects within our Network Control business across the Americas.

You will manage project execution, build relationships with customers and internal teams, and drive value and compliance on complex energy solutions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of project management experience, a PMI certification, and strong knowledge of power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of project management experience, including large-scale commercial projects.
• PMI or equivalent Project Management Certification is required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; 10% travel.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and market management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams for a positive experience.
• Oversee financial performance and resource planning for optimal efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and successful.
• Prepare clear, actionable reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to maximize value for Hitachi Energy.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a customer-focused culture.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
