Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale projects across the Americas within the Network Control business. You will manage complex initiatives, foster customer relationships, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of mission-critical grid solutions.

Required: 8+ years in project management, PMI or equivalent, bachelor’s in engineering/business/computer science, English and Spanish, and 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of project management experience on large-scale projects.
• PMI or equivalent certification required.
• Fluent English and Spanish skills are preferred.
• Willingness to travel about 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Oversee financial performance and resource planning.
• Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
• Prepare clear reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to maximize value.
