Job summary

Smith Roofing And Exteriors is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in siding and window installations to lead our exterior remodeling team. This role demands ownership of results, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach on jobsites.

You will oversee multiple residential projects from inception to completion, ensure on-time delivery within budget, coordinate crews and suppliers, and drive continuous production improvements while delivering exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in exterior remodeling, siding, windows, or closely related residential construction.
• Strong technical understanding of siding and window installation methods, flashing, waterproofing, and building-envelope fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to direct subcontractors, enforce quality standards, and resolve field issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently and take responsibility for outcomes.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, job costing, and production efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Comfortable performing field inspections, climbing ladders, and working around active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear expectations with installation crews and hold them accountable for quality, productivity, and professionalism.
• Monitor job costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and project profitability.
• Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Manage difficult customer situations professionally and effectively.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contribute to improving production procedures, quality-control standards, and overall departmental efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands‑on knowledge of siding and window installation, strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully.

This position requires someone who is equally comfortable walking a jobsite, resolving complex installation challenges, holding crews accountable, communicating with homeowners, and identifying opportunities to improve production efficiency.

• Experience developing processes, improving production performance, or helping grow a construction department.
