Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Houston, TX seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to lead our residential land development team. You will guide project design, client communication, permitting, and overall project management for diverse commercial developments.

You will collaborate with in-house civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, and surveyors to deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions, balancing client expectations, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 6+ years of land development design experience.
• Ability to identify new opportunities with existing clients and develop new partnerships.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff for land development projects.
• Involve in proposal development and client agreement execution.
• Manage land development design projects from conception to completion, including cost estimation of technical tasks.
• Build trusting relationships with clients, public agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate tasks, budgets, and schedules to meet client timelines and project milestones.
