• Strong leadership and mentoring capability; ability to collaborate with a team and delegate appropriately.

• Ability to create and maintain detailed project schedules and documentation.
• Experience delivering renewable energy projects with multiple stakeholders and fast-track schedules.
• Experience building/expanding vendor networks in an emerging market segment.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewable energy projects with a strong focus on profitability, schedule performance, and stakeholder communication, while coordinating closely with the Superintendent/field leadership.
• Support renewable energy growth by building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners, and by helping expand the vendor network for a more competitive renewable energy delivery model.
• Develop, drive, and implement project goals as the project lead.
• Create and maintain project schedules, including 3-week look-aheads, and coordinate field staff with the project Superintendent/field manager.
• Ensure projects are closed out on a timely basis.
• Prepare and assist with project estimating as needed.
• Monitor compliance to codes, QA/QC policies, and performance standards; ensure reporting is timely and accurate using company-sanctioned software.

ASeniorProjectManagerhasdemonstratedtheabilitytosuccessfullymanagecomplexprojectsand/orincreasedprojectvolumefrompreconstructionthroughcloseout.TheSPMcreatesandmaintainsdetailedconstructionschedules,projectdocuments,andbudgets,andimplementsteamstrategiesalignedwithcompanygoals.

SeniorPMsarealsoexpectedtomanageandmentorprojectteammembers(includingProjectCoordinators,ProjectEngineers,AssistantProjectManagers,and/orProjectManagersasassigned).

ThispositionistailoredtoBEAR’srenewableenergyworkstream,requiringstrongportfoliothinkingandconsistentexecutionacrossmultipleconcurrentprojects.TheSPMwill:

• Supportrenewableenergygrowthbybuildingandmaintainingrelationshipswithclients,subcontractors,vendors,andindustrypartners,andbyhelpingexpandthevendornetworkforamorecompetitiverenewableenergydeliverymodel.

• Assistwithtimelycompletionofaccounting-relatedduties(invoicing,collections,APinvoiceapprovals,contractissuance,reporting).
• Prepareandassistwithprojectestimatingasneeded.

Preconstruction,Contracts&Procurement

• Supportthepreconstructionprocess.
• Createscopeofworkassignmentsforsubcontractorsandvendors.
• Negotiatesubcontractswithexternalvendorstoreachprofitableagreements.
• Determineneededresources(workforce,equipment,andmaterials)withattentiontobudgetarylimitations.
• Worktofindnewvendorsandsuppliersforexpandingmarketstocreateamorecompetitiveproject.

Permits,Compliance,QA/QC&Reporting

• Workwithengineeringandpreconstructiontoobtainpermitsandlicensesfromappropriateauthorities.
• Monitorcompliancetoapplicablecodes,QA/QCpolicies,andperformancestandards.
• Ensureadherencetoallquality,health,andsafetystandardsandreportissuesinatimelybasis.
• Prepare,review,andsubmitinternalandexternaljobstatusreporting;evaluateprogressandpreparedetailedreports(includingprofitstatus).
• Ensurereportingiscompletedtimelyandaccuratelyusingcompanysanctionedsoftware.

Client&PartnerRelationshipManagement

• Developandmaintainworkingrelationshipswithclients,subcontractors,vendors,andotheragenciesoftheprojectteam.
• Collaboratewithengineers,architects,consultants,estimators,andotherpartnerstodetermineprojectspecifications.
• Continuetobuildandmaintainrelationshipswithclientsanddesignteamstosupportastableandgrowingbacklog.
• Developworkingrelationshipswithindustrypartnersbycontactingnewandexistingcustomerstodiscussneedsandnurturerelationshipsforfutureprojects.

PeopleLeadership

• Manageandmentorprojectteammembers;provideoversightandtrainingforassignedProjectCoordinators,ProjectEngineers,andAssistantProjectManagers.
