Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex programs from initiation to close, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope. You will develop plans, allocate resources, manage risks, and coordinate with stakeholders across business units.

This remote role requires strong communication, PMP/PMI-ACP preferred, and experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams in Agile environments. Travel to Humana offices may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in both traditional project management and adaptable or Agile approaches.
• 3 or more years of experience leading complex projects or programs.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a matrixed environment.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project.
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project; prepare designs, work specs, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with other operational areas to secure specialized resources and contributions.
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status; set priorities and assign tasks.
• Influence department strategy and determine objectives and approaches for assignments
