Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of mid-to-large-scale, globally distributed software services projects and programs. This role involves full lifecycle project ownership from initiation through execution to successful closure with responsibilities spanning people, processes, financials, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including setup, execution, financial oversight, and reporting.
  • Manage project/program relationships, dependencies, and communications with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives, client expectations, and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage project risks, mitigation plans, and scope changes while maintaining transparency with all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution planning, pricing inputs, and contractual compliance.
2. Agile & Methodology Leadership
  • Partner with Agile leads, delivery managers, and clients to adopt best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Act as Scrum Master when needed: facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, foster continuous improvement.
    Ensure adoption of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scrum-ban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Maintain key Scrum artifacts including Sprint Dashboards, Burn-down Charts, QA metrics, and team agreements.
  • Support backlog grooming, prioritization, and readiness activities for upcoming iterations.
3. Stakeholder & Business Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level stakeholders and high-visibility clients.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, and financial health.
  • Manage C-level relationships, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and operations teams on budgeting, P&L tracking, and contracts.
4. People & Team Leadership
  • Directly manage 10+ core team members and provide leadership to 20+ cross-functional, globally distributed team members, including other vendors.
  • Create self-organizing, high-performance teams and mentor project managers, analysts, and delivery leads.
  • Monitor and improve team velocity, productivity, and collaboration metrics.
5. Process Excellence & PMO Governance
  • Champion PMO best practices for project governance, quality, and compliance.
    Participate in Delivery Management and Agile communities to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and process improvement recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in project/program management with at least 4+ years managing $20M+ large-scale enterprise projects.
    • Proven success in global, cross-functional team leadership and client-facing delivery roles.
    • Hands-on experience with full project lifecycle management, including fixed-time/fixed-price engagements.
    • Exposure to CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and CMS platforms is highly desirable.
  • Methodology & Process Expertise:
    • Strong background in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile environments (SAFe).
    • Experience with project estimation frameworks and financial tracking (P&L, budgeting).
    • Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, Asana, and Confluence.

  • Certifications:
    • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent required
    • Agile/Scrum certifications and SAFe certifications are a strong plus.
