Kimley-Horn in Jacksonville, Florida seeks a Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to lead and grow the Aviation practice. You will build client relationships, oversee airside and landside design work, and guide planning and construction analyses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing airport design and construction projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil3D skills.
• Experience writing proposals, scopes of work and budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across org levels.
• Ability to mentor staff and direct resources positively.
• Proven ability to profitably manage land development projects.

Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to expand our Aviation practice in Jacksonville, Florida!

Responsibilities

• The qualified individual will lead and expand an Aviation team and practice while building and managing relationships with key clients
• Review design documents & drawings for airside and landside Aviation projects, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans
• Prepare analysis reports in support of airport planning, design, and construction
• Leadership responsibilities include:
  • Operating with integrity and sound business principals
  • Providing vision, business planning and strategy
  • Establishing goals
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Having open communication with your partners and team
• Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
• The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business

Qualifications

• 10 years+ of relevant experience managing airport design and construction projects

• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization

• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
