We are looking for a senior professional to grow our PFAS areas of practice in the US and Canada. Position can be remote, based out of any of the areas we service across the country, but the candidate should expect to visit offices or client/project sites on an as needed basis (view our office locations here). Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position will coordinate client outreach and technical services to address the burgeoning demand for PFAS support among our clients and to foster collaboration among our technical experts. This is a client-facing role while providing technical leadership and senior review of critical projects. Primary objective is to add PFAS treatment and remediation skillsets to our existing investigation, chemistry, risk, and reporting capabilities.

  • Identify and attract business development opportunities within practice; identify key clients / business areas, growth strategy, and capture strategy.
  • Foster client relationships and manage projects within the practice.
  • Develop successful partnerships with technology vendors while maintaining an agnostic objective approach providing clients with their optimal solutions
  • Partner with marketing and others to develop GEI “branding” within practice.
  • Enhance the professional development and skill set of staff within the practice and be a resource to them.
  • Strive to make GEI a thought leader in the PFAS world, presenting at key conferences and supporting professional publications by staff within practice.
  • Monitor and predict emerging trends within practice and their potential impacts on client, staffing, training, and business needs.
  • Actively participate in professional, industry, and policy groups within practice.
  • Instill health and safety (H&S) culture and ensures H&S programs are followed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successful Seller-Doer with strong client relationships and business development capability.
  • Senior Leader respected for technical prowess both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lead and identify multiple efforts across a large geography.
  • Collegial team builder with excellent leadership skills.
  • Broad regional understanding of discipline needs and emerging trends.
  • Willing and able to travel between client and GEI offices on a consistent basis.
