Job summary

NBA is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Partnerships in New York to drive post-sale program management for sponsor relationships. You will coordinate kickoff activities, lead cross-functional teams, and manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, legal approvals and asset delivery to ensure on-time results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal project management across sponsor partnerships from start to finish.
  • Coordinate kickoff processes, decks, recaps and next steps with Sales and clients.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, content and approvals.
  • Own daily communications between external partners and internal teams.
  • Monitor programs to hit KPIs and client satisfaction; build wrap reports.
  • Support pre-sale activity and help prepare timelines for production handoff.

This role involves day-to-day project management, stakeholder coordination and proactive problem-solving to help drive successful project outcomes. The Project Manager will be integral to the success of our client partnerships – coordinating the development and on-time delivery across the business.Acting as the connective tissue that keeps every internal stakeholder aligned, you'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Creative, Production, Talent, Social, Legal, and Finance. The ideal candidate has a strong command of project management fundamentals, thrives in fast-paced media, start-up environment, and communicates with clarity and confidence across all levels of an organization, as well as external clients.WHAT YOU'LL DOPost-Sale Program ManagementLead internal project management across all active sponsor partnerships from start to finish:Work with Sales to coordinate the internal and external kickoff call (KOC) processes, building KOC decks and help manage post-KOC recaps and next stepsBuild and manage both all project timelines with all key stakeholdersTrack all deliverables, budgets, content and legal approvals, and final asset delivery, and moreOwn and lead day-to-day communications and updates between all parties including external & internal status calls and processesMonitors programs while in process to ensure they hit agreed upon KPIs and metricsBuild and maintain wrap reports per program – working with Integrated Marketing and Sales to ensure client satisfactionPre-Sale SupportSupport the RFP process – ensure that all pitches are being updated with relevant pre-sale activity for cross-team visibilityAssist in building timelines and pre-pro documents close to project commitment to ensure a smooth transition to productionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired5-7 years of project or account management experience, ideally in sports, publishing or digital advertisingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing deadlines and stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading external partner calls and managing internal stakeholdersExperience with project management and collaboration tools (AirTable, Figma, SharePoint, Slack, Google Suite, etc.)Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to build and maintain complex timelines and hold cross-functional teams accountable to themCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS$120,000 - $135,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
