QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, LLC is seeking a talented project management professional to lead complex initiatives in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing sectors across Puerto Rico and the USA.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and successful product launches. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred for effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Chemistry or Biology preferred) or Engineering (Chemical/Industrial/BioTech preferred)
• Change Control and NPI experience required
• Leads strategic and complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from strategy through execution and readiness
• Develops governance frameworks and drives cross-functional alignment
• Provides leadership, mentorship, and direction to project teams
• Manages multiple responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines under pressure
• Fluency in business English and Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project(s): planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up
• Establish and achieve project standards for work quality and quantity
• Assess project issues and develop solutions for scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals
• Assist in technical, financial, and organizational issues by researching issues and maintaining archives
• Manage and track project budgets and timelines
• Negotiate and reconcile resource use for projects
• Identify schedule slips and analyze costs and resource impact
• Direct evolution and definition of the project scope and role
• Maintain the master project plan and schedule for assigned projects
• Recommend and develop operational or process improvements for the team
• Provide project support to senior management on demand
• Identify focus area projects within project management scope
• Generate periodic updates and formal presentations for required forums
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements
• Anticipate resource needs and communicate to sponsors
