Job Description

Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Position is Remote

The role of the Senior Project Manager is to manage and develop a team capable of executing the assigned project workload while managing customer expectations and positively impacting the customer’s purchasing experience. They are expected to guide and support their team through the project management process, assist with technical or escalated issues during project execution, and lead large or complex projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the Project Management team members
• Ensure internal and external kick-off meetings are conducted for each project
• Monitor project deliverables (budget, schedule, scope)
• Maintain accurate data entry and communication
• Conduct training and mentoring for team members
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for order execution
• Forecast sales figures monthly and quarterly through project backlog reporting
• Mitigate project risks through improved communication and training
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders
• Support annual planning aligned with business objectives
• Initiate continuous improvement actions
• Lead large/complex projects when workload requires

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma; PMP certification preferred
• Experience in Project Management within industrial or construction environments
• Experience with overhead crane delivery, installation, and commissioning or similar construction experience
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and resolve conflicts
• Strong technical aptitude and product/process knowledge
