Job summary

Iron Fish Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multifamily renovation and capital improvement programs in the Mid-Atlantic. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate multiple projects, and ensure work aligns with contract documents, budgets, and owner objectives.

You will manage bidding and negotiations, enforce OSHA safety, maintain client relationships, and report progress to ownership.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction management experience in multifamily construction/renovations.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong leadership and delegation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
• Proven business development and subcontractor network.
• Experience with take-offs, budgets, and cost control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable presenter to owners/clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction for day-to-day operations of multiple projects.
• Oversee ongoing capital projects and multifamily renovations; monitor compliance with contract documents.
• Maintain client relationships to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee bidding, bid comparisons, contract and PO negotiations; ensure timeliness and compliance.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and adherence to plans and specs.
• Create and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress to meet plans, budgets, and owner objectives.
• Perform site visits and inspections to ensure timeliness, budget, and quality.
• Assist with design tasks including schematic and construction drawings and specs.
• Monitor and report progress to ownership.
• Other duties as assigned by Regional VP of Construction.
