Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large complex fiber and telecommunications infrastructure projects from proposal through closeout.

You will ensure client satisfaction, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance while leading cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of related experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with Primavera/HCSS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.)
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Managing a phase of a large complex project or overseeing multiple large-scale projects within the fiber and telecommunications infrastructure sector.
• Overseeing projects from proposal and bidding through execution and closeout, ensuring client satisfaction, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Lead and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects (OSP construction, underground and aerial fiber installation, conduit systems, etc.).

Position Summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a phase of a large complex project or overseeing multiple large-scale projects within the fiber and telecommunications infrastructure sector. Responsibilities include managing projects from proposal and bidding through execution and closeout, ensuring client satisfaction, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and an effective communicator with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Projects will focus on fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure, including outside plant (OSP) construction, underground and aerial fiber installation, conduit systems, directional boring, broadband deployment, and network expansion.
