Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager III to guide product development from concept through commercial launch.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, create data-driven plans, manage budgets, and support phase-gate decisions to optimize value and outcomes. The role requires experience in medical device or in-vitro diagnostic projects, strong communication with executives, and a hybrid Irvine, CA presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree and/or PMP preferred.
• 8+ years of medical device or in-vitro diagnostic product-management experience.
• Proven ability to forecast budgets and track actuals; manage funding to mitigate overspend.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including executive-level skills.
• Hybrid work: Irvine, CA presence at least 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team to develop new products from initiation through commercial launch.
• Develop and execute project plans, manage resources and risks.
• Lead decision-making for Go/No-Go and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee adherence to a structured design and development process with quality/regulatory compliance.
• Coach team members in use of PM tools and stakeholder management.
