Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate in project management or 10 years of project management experience (aviation experience preferred).
• Clear delegated authority for planning, resource allocation, direction, and control of services to be rendered daily.
• Proactive leader with high standards of performance.
• Proactively identify critical issues and determine related risks.
• Resolve project-related technical problems and personnel issues.
• Become the primary point of contact to coordinate the project team’s efforts.
• Willing to work onsite full time in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Establish an overall project plan, strategy, and identify goals, priorities, and plans for completing the project.
• Establish written project procedures consistently.
• Organize and implement teams for specific tasks.
• Align people and communicate strategies.
• Establish an effective task execution process.
• Manage the process to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated to stakeholders.
• Develop and participate in informational presentations to boards and commissions.
• Manage design and construction of assigned projects.
• Manage and report the scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
• Develop and implement project management processes for assigned projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals and related processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project design and construction reports.
