Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Landscape Architecture practice. You will guide project strategy, nurture client relationships, and drive business development while coordinating a skilled team to deliver high-quality projects.

The role requires a seasoned professional able to mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate across disciplines to grow the practice and serve diverse public and private clients.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading a landscape architecture practice/studio.
  • Registered PLA/CLA license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience developing relationships with extensive client contacts.
  • BD and marketing experience including writing proposals, developing scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
  • Strong ability to engage with clients and deliver projects with the team.
  • Excellent communication at all levels and ability to mentor staff.

Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Landscape Architecture team in our Boca Raton office!

Responsibilities
  • Work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including private and public development, multifamily, mixed-use, and community planning throughout the region for a wide variety of clients
  • Project experience will be diverse as we provide services to both public and private sectors
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit, creating a vision for their practice while facilitating the growth within each market
  • Shape your practice and to lead the business development efforts with local developers, public agencies and/or industry contacts while building and managing your relationships with these key clients
  • Markets are not limited by geography but driven by relationships
  • Operate with integrity and sound business principles; providing practice vision, business planning and strategy
  • Serve clients directly and deliver for clients
  • Build and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Have open communication with your partners and team with the overall goal to grow your practice
  • As your team grows, you will also be provided the support of a national firm to build your team and practice to serve your clients
