Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Orlando, Florida office is seeking an experienced Landscape Designer/Architect with 2+ years of experience to join our Landscape Architecture team. The role focuses on site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.

You will contribute to projects across public and private sectors, develop design concepts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. A portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for interview.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
2+ years relevant experience.
Strong AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Graphic software: Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint.
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Portfolio or work samples required if considered for interview.

Responsibilities

Support the Landscape Architecture practice with site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production.
Work on diverse projects for public and private sectors (land planning, streetscapes, parks, redevelopment).
Perform design tasks with mentorship and exposure to plan production, budgets, and client interactions.
