Senior Project Manager – K-12 Construction Project Management (Anticipated Opening)

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a team responsible for real estate project solutions for K-12 clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. Candidates should have experience with construction projects related to K-12, Higher Education, or the Public Sector.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project management including budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk for real estate projects from planning to closeout.
  • Interpret and apply complex project documents such as contracts, leases, surveys, and drawings.
  • Interface with clients to define project scope, resources, budgets, schedules, quality, and risks.
  • Lead project delivery teams, provide guidance, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Communicate effectively through meetings and reports, maintaining project documentation and data integrity.
  • Monitor project progress, report variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks, including conducting constructability reviews.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise team members and third-party resources, including recruitment, performance reviews, and coaching.
Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze complex business and construction documents.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in architectural drawings, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum six years of relevant construction project management experience.
  • Supervisory experience and PMP or CCM certification desired.
