Job summary

Meridian Bioscience, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional new product development for IVD assays and diagnostic instruments in an FDA-regulated setting.

You will plan from concept through launch, ensuring design control, schedules, risks, resources, and budgets are managed with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and external partners to meet objectives, with potential Cincinnati or remote work

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of project management experience leading cross-functional product development projects.
• Experience managing FDA-regulated IVD product development projects with schedule, risk, resources, and budget responsibility.
• Proven track record of leading IVD products through FDA clearance or approval and commercial launch in the U.S. market.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Clinical Affairs, Finance, Marketing to define project scope and governance.
• Develop integrated project plans with critical path, dependencies, resources, and decision points; communicate plans to teams and leadership.
• Drive ownership of project plans, identify risks and trade-offs, and recommend changes to meet objectives.
• Track and communicate project performance including schedule, milestones, risks, resources, and budget.
• Ensure on-time completion of deliverables in accordance with design control and procedures.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and external partners in decision-making and issue resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
