Job summary

ARCO Companies seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead hyperscale construction projects from inception to completion in Cincinnati, OH. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, design coordination, risk management, and subcontractor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience in large-scale builds, proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Hyeperscale construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage hyperscale project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, design coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Coordinate with owners and design team on preliminary concept drawings.
• Oversee buyout and subcontractor selection; conduct bi-weekly site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines and manage multiple activities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a hyperscale project. Including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of project management experience
• Highly prefer hyperscale experience
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
