Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Greater Los Angeles / Orange County oversees heavy civil and structural projects as a Senior Project Manager in the Structures Division. You will guide planning, scheduling, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and client relations to ensure safe, on-time, profitable delivery.

Experience with estimating is preferred; relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4-7 years experience, 10+ years preferred, managing heavy civil and structural projects.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Familiarity with public contract code and government contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, organization, and execution of multiple projects with Division Managers and Estimators.
• Establish project objectives, schedules, budgets, and financial controls.
• Manage contract administration and documentation with owners and subcontractors.
• Oversee field operations with on-site superintendents to meet milestones.
• Attend and lead weekly progress meetings with owners, agencies, and consultants.
• Control financial aspects including job cost tracking, change orders, billings, and collections.
• Maintain budget forecasting, reporting, and projections.
• Mentor and develop junior project staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
