Middlesex Asphalt in Central Florida is one of the largest asphalt plants in the U.S., with Middlesex Paving also maintaining a strong regional presence.

Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the entire construction effort to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. This role involves interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Review project features with the Estimating Department.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer and Superintendent to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare and submit preliminary paperwork, including submittals, letters, subcontractor approvals, and work breakdowns.
• Develop project documentation such as submittal logs, organization charts, and material storage plans.
• Manage project startup and closeout processes, maintain project files.
• Approve project budgets prior to construction start.
• Oversee all aspects of cost management, including quarterly revisions and change order logs.
• Coordinate project activities with the Superintendent to meet milestones and ensure job continuity.
• Conduct weekly project meetings.
• Review estimates with the owner's representative/engineer and submit final or revised estimates.
• Participate in final inspections, closeout meetings, and complete final documentation.
• Maintain communication with the project owner and architect/engineer for project closure and final payments.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related construction field.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in civil construction.
• Experience in budget management, scheduling, quality control, and all construction phases.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
